Vintage rare MIP 4wd conversion 4-10 SP-2 for Associated RC10 from late 1980's early 1990s. I am the second owner of this conversion. I believe I ran about 2 batteries through it, then disassembled it for the past 25 years. During recent reassembly, parts were inspected and quickly cleaned. Rear SP-2 differential only needed lube from MIP grease and reassembled. Rear differential spins free, bearings and gears like or near new. Front gearbox top shaft gear has a crack, causing a skip. Maybe common to this gear due to manufacture. Bearings in front gearbox good and spin like or near new. Includes 2 belts, a worn extra pulley, and possibly an original MIP SP2 bellcrank. Front universal outdrives with Yokomo style hubs with one way bearings. Rest of car has a fiberglass chassis plate, RC10 original front plate, shock towers, shocks, Yokomo rims with vintage new Schumacher and CRP spike tires, Andy's front and rear A arms. Shapeway TH-1 replica adapters to mount Yokomo rims on rear supported by RC10T rear hubs. Car is sold AS IS, and is a good candidate for further restoration or shelf. Only items in pictures included. Car is a roller, requiring a few parts and electronics to complete.
