Default F1rclab issues...

Hi all,

Anyone ever had issues with F1rclab? I've asked for decals, which Brad agreed to do in early January, then in February and for a second set for something else, which he was happy to do. But since early April when he said the original request was completed and printed and was part way through the second, he has simply fallen off the face of the planet. I know he has been selling decals (the new season ones have been popping up in the F1 thread) as the painters have attributed the decals to f1rclab.

I even sent a "I'm sorry if I have somehow offended you somehow" email, but still no response. For the life of me I have no idea how I would have offended or ticked him off etc, but I know us Australians can seem a little rough at times without us realising it.

Is Brad known for just going dark on people for no explainable (or explained) reason, or am I just lucky?

It's now almost May, close to 5 months since my initial email. And 1 month since any communication from him. And the mentioned decals are not on his site page as he said he would post up when complete.

I'm at a loss, and getting a little annoyed. I bought a set off of him a few years back and he was great, but now, it's becoming a different experience.

Please tell me this is normal and he usually resurfaces and goes above and beyond...

Cause I'm getting... Well I'm sure you can guess.

Thanks

I can't unfortunately, I'm in China for the next 7 months and Facebook is blocked. So it's email only communication, unfortunately.

But F1paintlab is the old name for the same business.

Linking to the f1rclab website by the looks of it.
So he must be active.

Thanks Blarks for checking... Another option is that maybe he doesn't check his email much. I don't know. This month (4 months after first contact) I sent maybe 2 or 3 after getting no reply simply asking for updates.

I don't know...

I have a VPN, but I've shut down my Facebook account years ago (I have so much more free time and a better social life). I think I'm going to forget using them. It's not worth the hassle.

I think I've found an alternative now. Another company that I've seen doing stickers for guys here is happy to do the jobs. And they are much cheaper if I design my own as well which isn't hard.

So I got an email from Brad. He will be putting up one of the decal sheets on his site store.

He also explained that he was prioritising making the 2017 sheets over my second request as they are being requested a lot at the moment. As well as the fact he (like many of us I'm sure) works full time as well as being a Dad. Not info he has said before, but somewhat understandable now.

I think I'm still going to design a few others and use the second printer after I send some designs through. If they are good, then maybe I'll only use Brad on shells that are to be display only from here on.

Thought someone might be interested in how this has gone for their reference. If anything else arises, I'll update this thread. Let's hope it's very quiet.

Brad has said at least 2 times in the last 2 months that he will put the finished decals on his site. Then I can order them and then when the second set is done I can order those...

But still nothing. I've been checking the store almost daily, and no sign of anything. It's almost 1 month since his last email reply. I'll wait till the 2nd of June and ask... Again.

Geez... thanks for the warning, ive been thinking of ordering something from them but dunno now...
How much is the other guy charging? What livery are you having him print?
The last f1 body I bought didn't come with decals so I just painted it and put some of the random sponsor decals we all piles of on it, I hate it. Looks like an F1 toy from 1992 from Radioshack.
And I have another body that I can't figure out what car it's supposed to be, it's an older protoform, type m or type b, not having much luck searching Google images...
