Where to buy Lexan sheets for custom forming?
 

I want to vacuum-form a custom body for one of my cars, but I don't know where to find Lexan sheets. Are there any local stores (like, crafts stores, theater shops) that would have them, or do I need to go to a real plastics supplier?

I can't speak for the local shops near you, but I've never been able to find them anywhere like that. I've always ordered them online. The last ones I got I actually got on Amazon. But there are lots of places that sell them.

Look up a sign shop. They will direct you to the local plastic supply co. The .030 or .040 polycarbonate 4x8 sheets are about $30.
