The fridge thing may help. You could also try putting the bottle in a ziploc bag, and suck out all the air.

Fascoat does have a shelf life . i had 4 unused bottles sitinng on shelf and when i went to use it it was solid ,like a silicone rubber in the bottle.

I have never had a problem with fascolor/createx drying up in the bottle. I have a couple colors from about3 years ago. I still use them. I think you need to keep the lids on tight. Maybe add some retarder everynow and then.

If you are unsure about a color combination, or a design, cut a 2 liter soda bottle in half, and test on it. Its alot cheaper then a body, and you get the yummy soda.

I second this! Some o my best paintjobs have been the byproduct of over indulgence in the beer department. I guess you just go with the low and don't over think things.

Hi BatJam1, have a question for you. Many painters uses rubbing alcohol to thin their paints, do you think this will bring those dried up Fascoat back to life??
What is the root to this 'drying up in Fascoat' problem? I suspect could be the temperture that is causing this.
Maybe someone from Prama could answer this.

I think this is faskoat, not faskolor paint or createx.
I also went to paint the other day, and all my paint was fine but the faskoat was solid..

I saw this post and realized I missed the Fascoat word .

Fascoat is not a paint really. It seems more like a glue. It is known as a clear coat in the Createx line.

Createx has something called bonder. You add it to the paint so it can stick better. It seems to dry quick. And the label on the bonder reads, use with in 3 days of adding to paint. Short shelf life there.
