Painting advice.

hi can anyone help.

1: I've been asked to paint a few buggy wings, these I'm going to paint on the under side, but my question is do you seal them with anything or just use the final coat of paint as the sealer.?

2: trying to get good marble effect. How do you keep the paint wet before you disturb the paint as what ever I seem to spray through the airbrush is basically dry, also what methods has everyone had best results with.

Cheers

Sb

You can seal the final coat with enamel spray paint, like rustOleum.

For marble you just need to spray a very heavy, wet coat and quickly smoosh it around with plastic wrap or foil. You could add some reducer to your paint to give it a longer drying time, even water will work for Waterbased paints like FasKolors.

I just dip the plastic bag in the paint and then dab it on the body, to me its way easier then spraying then dabbing.
