Default Airbrush Help

I have a Iwata Neo BCN Siphon-Feed Dual Action Airbrush. I'm using wicked colors, fascolor, and create paint. When I spray on Lexan or glass this is what I get. Any ideas on what the bubbles are and how to stop it?

Those are what's called "Fish eyes", basically it is contamination on your on your surface. Even when everything is completely clean you will still get them a little from air contaminants. If you are sure everything is clean, you can put a filter in your air line. Put your first coats on very dry, helps eliminate them.

It should be mentioned that fisheyes are usually from oil, silicone, or wax. But leftover dish detergent will do it as well.

Airbrush lube. I clean my guns with water after I lube it to remove any excess lube. Glad you caught it practicing.

I drained my compressor, and cleaned the glass with soapy hot water. Between the two things, no more fish eyes. Now...Next question....what paint are you guys using? Water based for lexan or not?
