Default Need help with sct body

Hey I have a proline body that I bought for my slash 4x4 but I sold that and now I'm putting it on my team associated sc10. Anyways, I need to know if I can use normal spray paint or if I need actual rc body paint. Also if I should cut it out then paint or paint then cut it out.? If you have any pointers please share! Thanks

You will need rc paint for lexan so the paint bonds with the body. If you try using something like Krylon paint, the first time you crash the paint will flake off. I prefer to cut the body out first as this helps avoid any damage to the new paint if the knife slips. You can gently score it with an exacto blade and then it will snap and bend fairly easy making very clean lines. There is a video of it somewhere.... this one!

take your time and you will get good results..and watch for tearing in tight spots where you scored. Good luck
