Default A clean look on carbon

I managed to find a piece of carbon stencil that is flat and not thick like shelf lining, so it should give a really clean look and not feathered. My question is can i use some type of LIGHTcoat of spray adhesive on the stencil to have it slightly stick to the body? Otherwise how do I get it to not move in and around the curves?

Heat the shelf liner with a hair dryer or heat gun to make it more malleable for this purpose.

yes you can
3M makes glue in spray cans
the glue sticks to the stencil, not the body
so you will have no glue residu problems
but that's my spray can glue... best to test an a scrap piece of lexan to be sure
