I needed a new USGT body as well, figured I'd try to PFM10 myself. I've used the mustang last year and the C7 this year. C7 I screwed up cutting it out and it just doesn't look as nice as I want so it's a practice battery burner body now. I've always liked the gulf colors myself too so figured I'd break down and paint the most popular scheme in USGT hahaha. Talking with Carl now to get some decals sent and some for my VTA Camaro as well.
Yes, wrong tires, needed something for the mounting and these were all I had with me at the time. I ordered some HPI Volk TE37 replicas and spec tires to make it really stand out. Normally I'll just buy gravity pre-mounts but I really liked how this body came out so I got some wheels specifically to set it off.

The vette looks like a sedan

I like it
I have the same body too. It performed surprisingly well, the rear wing does provide enough downforce if you use tamiya's optional adjustable alloy wing mount. I didnt run it that much as I intend to hang it up as a display instead of racing with it, but it needs a little getting used to at first, at least for me. Once I was accustomed with the body and the tires heated up, the car handled very well and was able to fly around the track

Hey guys,
I've been into rc's for a while now and finally decided to start painting a year ago, It's an entire hobby in its self..
I'm making this thread to show my paint jobs I've done so far and to encourage others to give it a go. If anyone is in Vegas and wants to learn or needs help hit me up. I'll continue to update the thread with new paint jobs.
Thanks,
