Default Just got a Stika machine

I convinced my wife that we needed a Stika machine so I could make window decals for her flower shop. So I just got a SX-12 up and running. Of course I am going to use it for making mask sheets for painting bodies. I have always been terrible at designing and masking. I have found a few designs on the net that I can use. Anybody have any that they would like to share let me know. Thanks

Sweet!
Hey, do those things require you use their software, or can you print directly from illustrator?
I'm actually thinking of getting one myself, but will be useless unless I can use Illustrator.

It comes with a plug-in called Roland CutChoice that allows you to use Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. I have Corel Draw but haven't used it with the Stika yet. You can also import .bmp files to the Stika software.

I am just going to use white vinyl for now. I'll probably get some of the tape that is available later but it is twice the price as the vinyl.

I use my STIKA all the time and love it. I don't recommend using the masking vinyl though. I have a roll of it just sitting in my office. I just use regular vinyl. It seals better (you don't have a problem of it lifting or bleeding). It's a little harder to remove, but with some tweezers and an xacto, it's all good. I painted this body using my STIKA and regular vinyl.
By the way this is where I got mine. It comes with five rolls of vinyl, transfer tape, and some other stuff. For only $519.00

Thanks for the tip on the masking vinyl.

That body is nice. Are you willing to give up any of your files?

You can design things Illistrator and transfer them into the dr. stika program. You also have an option on the left side tool bar in ill. to cut there. OI mostly save the file as a bmp. and transfer it into the cutter program.
The lettering and the shell logo on this body were done with my machine.

I got mine from http://specialdelivery.bizhosting.com/index.html
When I got it they had free delivery. I got the machine and three rolls of vinyl for $550 shipped. Then I bought several rolls of vinyl from www.signsupply.com including some carbon fiber print. Actually I didn't but any of it, my wifes store bought it. I just get to use it.
