Default Help with chrome

Hey guys, got a quick Q for you. I have never had luck spraying chrome for some reason. Any tips that might help. I always get a section that is frosty. I have both alclad and spaztic in aerosol and alclad in the bottle. How many coats are u guys using? How far away are u holding the can? Cleaning before hand? Any advice would be greatly appreciated carl

Don't back it with anything but waterbased black. Any solvents will dull it.

+1! thats the only thing that will keep it reflective.
backing it with white will make it look like this... ( the silver spot with the black fades is actually chrome)

but if you use pre prep, are sure to make it very even in a coat, and back it with water based black, it can come out like this

also, spray spaz stix surface pre prep before spraying chrome. it will help it stick to the body, and keep any scratches that are on the inside of the body from showing up.
