Is there any paint from ace hardware or similar place that will work on my RC body? The hobby shops are closed and I kinda wanna paint my truck today....

I have used Krylon back in 1990/1. It came out fine. The only thing I remember is it wasn't as flexible. If the body rubbed a body post/shock tower, there might have been a hairline scratch in the paint. If you're racing, that body will be destroyed in a couple races anyway.

You can use any lacquer spray paints. I know Home Depot has some but only black and white. Enamels will chip off. Some say the Krylon "Fusion" paints for plastics work...some say they don't. I have never used them so cant say.

Duplicolor Vinyl and fabric paint works better than any model paint I have ever used. Just doesn't come in very many good colors. But you get black white, yellow red silver and some other muted earthy tones.


Any Vinyl and fabric paint should work, but i have only used the Duplicolor stuff.
