Default how to use stencils?

recently I purchased some small stencils. I tape them to the body and just spray the stencil. However they have lots of small designs within that seem to stick up a little off the body. So when I spraw paint goes under. This creates a real disacter paint job.

What is the best way to paint an intricate stencil?

Well I ended up using 20 and it turned out great! Still working on my painting but this was a big help!

I think you are right though, even less pressure and work close.

i have a small stencil i use that says "Z-Man Paint" and what i do practice on a piece of paper or something very thin lines. i tape it down as flat as possible and what ever part of the stencil im spraying i hold it down with my finger to make sure it doesn't bleed through.
and before i take off the stencil i turn over the body and check to see if it bleed through and if it did, i quickly peel up the stencil and spray denatured alcohol on a soft rag and wipe off the paint and do it again. if it didn't bleed through i use a hair dryer or something to dry the paint a little bit when i peel up the stencil it doesn't leave any extra paint anywhere.
be sure to not use big gulps of paint coming out or let your finger slip, over spray is a pain.
here's the one im talking about
