Hi Guys,

I'm new to painting bodies and wanting some advice on the best way to get the 3mm to 5mm pin striping on the outline of flames, tribal symbols etc.

no big secret... just use a marker, mask it, cut out with scalpel, and practice this until you get the hang of it
vinyl cutter could work on certain areas and will give you a perfect trimline, but remember : sticking de vinyl with pin stripe included on the inside of a lexan body will not always be possible : when the decal nears a tiny corner in the body design, the trim will come apart from the rest of the vinyl, you will get tiny ripples...)
