Arrow "Rattle Can" Paint Jobs!

I would like to see a combined thread of all bodies painted using a spray can. I plan to do one in the future... and I'd like to see some ideas that have been used while using a spray can.

Lets see em guys!!!!

Default my first paintjob

I did this one a few years ago. Still have the body cause I can't bring myself to throw it out, despite the fact it's cracked all around the rear tower.

I hand painted the black line of Hobbes, but the rest is rattle cans. Of course, there's nothing exceptional about it except hobbes, and that's not limited to rattle can, so really, it's not a rattle can paint job that really shows any of the potential of the rattle can... also, I'm rambling, cause I'm tired, so I'm just going to put up the image....

Actually, this is a very good topic. Although we frequently have the pro's paint bodys for us, I feel a lot of people don't make the effort because they feel it will be to hard to paint a body that looks cool. So they paint it white, or black, or red and call it done.

This body below looks like a million bucks on the track, it's one color (I "rattle-can" painted the yellow), with an Orion internal graphic on the inside.

Looks like I spent some serious time on it. Quite easy. (Don't tell the guys we race with, I told them I painted all that)

Here are a couple bodys I rattle can'd over 17 years ago. The panther was hand painted by me. The rest is spray can.

Be proud of the rattle can bodys!!!!

G`day PPL`s ,

Well this is my first post, & i thought i`d drag out some OLD photo`s.

After a 15 yr break from RC`s i`m getting back into it....

My day was when Kyosho`s "Turbo Ultima" was the buggy to have , & Tamiya`s "Nissan King Cab" was the truck... ..showing my age now.

Anyway enough rambling

The pics don`t really show the true colours which are "Pearl Purple" & " Fluro Pink " which was pretty out there 15yrs ago.

Cheers

Default Great thread!

Nice work with the rattle cans guys! It is true about people being worried their cars won't turn out so good. In reality, you can do amazing paint jobs with cans. A good paint job is all in the mask! I hope this thread will encourage more people. Bob, your car is indeed very clean and looks like a million bucks...now where's my order!?!?!?
