Default Newbie liquid mask Question

Hello, I am the king of the one color paint job. I want to get a little creative, but my encounters with liquid mask have not gone well. I tried applying it with a small nylon trim brush with bad results. What shoud I use?

I'm not a fan of liquid mask, but the best way to apply it is to spray it on. You mentioned that you used aa small trim brush, if you were trying to mask pinstripes or the like I would recommend that you cut thin strips of vinyl masking tape instead. You will get much better results.

If you are brushing it on, you don't have to thin it. If you are spraying it, you should thin it with water.

Use a foam style brush is you are going to brush it on, works much better than one with brissles.....

Default brush

Use a fluffy make up brush that women use to blend in thier rouge on the cheeks. I myself spray it on using a gravity feed aotomotive spray gun, 2 coats heat gun in between coats.

Don't use a foam brush. They come apart and leave particles in the mask...
