Default Storing Air Brush between uses

Ok I got to play with my new air brush. Had a ball. Cleaned the heck out of it with windex and Faskleaner, then lubed it per Iwata instruction that came with it. Now whats best way to store it? I have it in a zip lock back right now but wondering if that wont keep any left over moisture in and cause rust or something. Thought about keeping it in a crown royal bag but again not sure whats proper way to store your air brush when not using it.

I did a search here and CFX (old and new) and didnt find an answer

I keep mine in a wooden, hinged lid box that I purchased at Hobby Lobby. Keeps it safe from getting something dropped on it.

PS: Iwata's are brass with chrome plating for the most part. no rust.

Ok works for me. I have a really small tool box I store electric motor parts in like brushes and stuff...ill throw a wash cloth in it for padding and just store it in that. Thanks all.

You should be aware that you should never soak your
airbrushes in any cleaner that contains ammonia.
It can do damage to the bare brass internals of it.
It should be rinsed with water and blown out with air as
soon as any solution containing ammonia is allowed to enter it.

Makes you want to avoid Windex, unless it's the ammonia free formula. Thanks for the info!
