I can buy Createx paint locally from Dick Blick Art Supplies and Hobby Lobby. Is this paint comparable to Faskolor? I tried it on clear plastic bottles, and it works fine in my airbrush, without thinning. It is a water-based paint. If I use Createx, should I also use a fuel-proof coating for nitro cars?

yes its the exact same thing as faskolor, and yes I would recommend backing it with a can of silver spray paint
