Default Ever ran jr9100t with no lipo reg?

Has anybody tried this? What happened?..........

Well, After reading all these posts I tried it and had no problems. I ran the car for about 20 to 30 minutes and everything worked fine.

I ran the 9100t's for years on straight lipo without any issues.

The HV9100's dont drain significantly more than the regular 9100's.

I tried it and it smoked after 2 club races, I noticed that both servos over heated and only one failed. dont try it.

I run Life packs now but they really dont last charged as much as a lipo does.

They cant draw significantly more if they only last a few tanks.

I ran 9100's on Lipos for over a year unregulated. No problems for me.

The 9100 series servos need a 6v regulator, the 7v regulator will cook the servos. Ive had zero issue for 3 years now with the 6v regulator lipo combo.
A simple 2000 mAh pack will last all day, three rounds of Qualifying and a 20 min main, thats for either the HV or 9100 series servos.

I cooked 3 of them with in mins running Losi 7.4v Lipo and DX3R radio. No Regulator.

Not a good thing to do, unless you have $100 servos to burn up. Just saying.

That means that JR HV servos are garbage.

I must be very lucky. First I run the servos for years on straight lipo with no problems, then I run garbage servos again without issues. Either I should play the lotto or I know how to set my endpoints.
