What to use to clean tape residue of body?
Just painted a Baja body for a mate, the problem was there was no protective film so i taped the body up with clear packing tape to draw the design on...now its removed there is tape residue on the body.
have tried windex but no good, what can i use without eating into the body?

first port of call should be some tape. stipple/dab the tape and the tape-tape bond should pull it up.
try and use fluids to remove it as a last option if possible.
but hey, whatever works

EVERY painter should have a bottle (or 10) of this. It's the same thing as the old Bolink body wash. It is a body cleaner/ wax to use after races to keep your bling shiny, but can also be used to clean overspray, sharpie, paint bleeds, etc. It does leave a bit of a residue, so I wouldn't use it inside the body, but on the outside, it's awesome.
