I heard of guys putting the can in a bowl of hot water for a while before using it.


also I just had a same issue with the 3M blue tape.just did a tmaxx body and where I covered it and then went to remove it,it did leave soem residue...so ever so carefully i had to wipe the tape residue with denatured alchoal and that seemed to work. I say i'm about 1/2-3/4 into the roll...never had a problem with it before...maybe it is gettn old????

It was beyond clearish, it was clear. I was expecting it to be light, obviously, but there was no color or tint to it at all.

strange.

Mine was brand new. I "think" I might have used the heat gun a bit too much, trying to get the damn "white" to dry. I just did another body with the same roll of tape, no issues.

As anyone contacted testors about this? Sounds like they got their mixture wayyyy off and its super reduced! For it to attack the 3m fine line like that its the only thing that could be wrong.

so update...

It seems I just had bad luck that day and grabbed two duds in a row. I tried a third today and all was well. Humph.
