Default Tape for masking?

Can I just use regular masking tape or blue painters tape? I'm going to hand cut it.

Sorry I'm sure it's been asked 100 times already.

regular tape will work, but the blue and green tapes hold up to the paint better and unmask easier without ripping.

You should give liquid mask a try. Better and easier than tape.

Not everything needs LMF, and if you only do a body here and there, it goes bad in the bottle sitting around.

I like the green tape when more stick is needed. I also like that it's a little thinner/smoother = nicer edge. But if you leave it down too long, it sticks hard.

If you use regular masking tape, cut the edges with an Xacto knife to get a sharper edge. Sometimes it is a little fuzzy.
