Default My New Protoform Alfa Romeo 2.1 Body

I know everyone's tired of flames but...

I just painted a Protoform Alfa 2.1 yesterday. Was trying to do something "race oriented". Turned out pretty good except for the flames. I was trying to paint pearl white then back it with metallic blue. It would look something like metallic light blue. But, the pearl white spray can shot out blobs instead of a mist. I was kinda ticked off, so I just let it dry and backed it with the met. blue. Looks ok to me. Let me know what you guys think.

Colors I used(all spray cans):
Tamiya Gun Metal
Pactra Sprint White
Pactra Metallic Blue
Pactra Indy Silver
Pactra Pearl White

Masks:
3M Tape
Parma Flames Mask

that looks really good!. Cant see the blobs you speak of, yet.

I had no probs with the pactra white pearl. creates a nice effect.

Check out the larger flame on the 2nd outdoor shot. See the white spots?
