If using masking tape, how long do you wait to remove the tape? Do you pull the tape as soon as you finish painting (so the paint doesn't soak into the tape and mess up the edge?) or do you wait until the paint is dry, so you don't touch an unpainted area with paint covered tape?

And, what is the best way to remove paint from lexan? Q-tip and denatured alcohol, fingernail polish remover, something else? I don't mean like erase a complete hood - just a couple of small spots where the tape wasn't sealed along the edge and there isn't a clean edge.

definitely wait for it to dry

denatured alcohol works awesome. Don't use fingernail polish- it has acetone in it and may fog up the Lexan.

What should I use to thin Fascolor paints? My hobby shop can't seem to get Fasthinner. I have Fascleaner, Createx airbush cleaner and windex. Suggestions?

Get the AutoAir 4011 flash reducer. I've tried all the tricks and it, by far, is the best. It also helps prevent dry tip.

What can I spray on the inside of my bodies to help prevent the paint from scratching off? Any suggestions for a coating? I've been using my daughters thin duck-tape. Pretty colors.
