Default Painting a body!

I got an rtr truggy. Is it possible to paint over the pre painted body?
On the outside?

Sure you can! It's possible. Scuff up the lexan a little bit with a scrubby pad or something to help with adhesion. It'll just scrape off really easily when you crash.

Your best bet is to get a new clear body but assuming you can't or don't want to, you can do exactly what was said above.

If you do paint the outside, a camo design would look the best.

The downside though is that by painting on the outside, you are open to scratches and flaking more. Has anyone ever tried to remove paint from a factory job using any of the methods mentioned in these post? I've heard / read about brake fluid, denatured alcohol, etc to removing the paint.

Most RTR shells are very light plastic, and removing the screened graphics would be more work than it is worth to re-use a cheap RTR shell. Paint the outside and run it until you have the funds for a proper replacement.

What brand/model RTR is it? You may get lucky and find someone selling a body cheap on here, or eBay.
