But like you said, as long as you get it and feel it's worth $50, you found a bargain.

Just don't complain to ProLine about the body quality.

Even a wholesale dealer pays close to $18 for an average ProLine body, and freight is $8, so you are getting a $25 paintjob. That should be about an hour of work, maybe less. But if people want to give away their hard work, there is ususally a line forming at the door.

You forgot to take the cost of mask, paint, and exacto blades out of that $25 too, good luck with finding someone who will paint and ship for $50

It would be around $90 from me since it's a pretty simple design...

I dont see how anyone can do it for $50 out the door, most paint work starts out at $50+body+shipping,we put alot of time and work into the job, sold this on ebay and the did one for a customer for $81 out the door.

do you mean you charge $25 for the body or for the paint work? If its for the body thats resonable but paint work fo $25 is not worth my time...It takes me a good 3-4 hours a shell and making $5 an hour is not appleaing to me. I need to make more than minimum wage to make it worth my while

If I were unemployed (like many are these days) I would paint cars for $25, but they wouldn't be fancy....they would be masking tape jobs...no window trims (use bag supplied masks). Yeah, I could see whipping out the Pavidis scheme for $25....but nobody better complain about the details.

the way I see it, you charge what you feel people will pay for it.... I do wonder how some make a living at it, as if you charge a decent hourly rate... nobody would use you.
