Getting into airbrushing... couple questions
I've searched the forums and all over the net but i'm still unsure as to what i need. I'm just going to paint lexan bodies and would like to use fascolor but i'm not sure what type of compressor i need or the ideal airbrush for painting bodies. If you were to buy a compressor and brush today, what would you get? I'm a n00b for sure when it comes to airbrushing so be gentle.

Depends on what fitting you have on your compressor, you may or maynot need an adapter

I know it may add a couple of days to the process, but try your airbrush hose on the compressor to see if you need an adaptor first. If you don't great, if you do, go to www.pumatools.com and get the adapter you need. While you are there, get a moisture trap too.

For straight lines, say down the middle of the body, I find the middle of the front hood, the roof and the trunk and mark the outside of the body with a permanent marker (which will come off when you take off the over spray film) and then use those marks as guides when I lay my masking tape down. If you hit those 3 points, then the line will look straight even if it is slightly off.
