Default Cheap Paint

What is the cheapest place online to buy Faskolor? I saw that AMainHobbies has it for $3.89/bottle but if there is a cheaper place that would be great.

Depends how much you are buying.

www.dixieart.com has free shipping when the order gets over $65 (I think). So if you need 15 colors, you save shipping. Worth a look.

Do they sell Faskolor? I looked hard and couldn't find it on the site.
I found Createx Paint at Coast Airbrush for $.95 for 2oz. and $4.25 for 4oz.

No, and like so many other companies being hit hard by the economy, free shipping threshold is going up to $250 () in Feb 2009.

Looks like I'll be stocking up before the end of the month on AutoAir staples.

Fascolor is an older formula of autoair/createx. So buy the Autoair, its cheaper and better paint.

I have pretty much ruled out ordering Faskolor. Right now I'm down to Createx or Auto Air, Createx is cheaper than Auto Air though. What should I do?

I would personally stay away from the Createx right now. They have changed their formula recently making all their paints much thinner than before. I used Createx almost exclusively for the last year and noticed that I was having to lay down 5 or 6 coats to get good coverage with colors I only had to lay down 3 coats with only a month or two ago.

The Createx maybe cheaper but its going to take a third more paint to do the same job that you can do with the Parma!!!

I like AutoAir paints, but it is a bigger commitment to setup to use them as they come in 4oz bottles. I'd buy AutoAir for the stuff you use lots of...your favorite colors...then find and buy Faskolors, Createx, Spaz, Alclad, etc... for the details and special colors where you only use a little at a time.
