Default Stickers as a mask?

Just wondering if you guys have experience using a sticker as a mask for a pattern (like using star stickers for star shapes, lots of them...). I'd guess the only factor would be how sticky the backing is on them in order to get them off.

any tips would be great. (getting ready to paint my first body and just planning it out)

You are correct.

Paint mask is just vinyl with a lower tack adhesive.

When im painting the healights and grill on most cars instead of trying to handcut the outlines I usualy take the decasl set and cut them out and use them as a mask. It is much easier to cut them and get both headlights uniform and the decasl mask well and dont leave behind anything.

sweet, looks like I'll just try de-stickifying the stickers a bit.
