Yes for touring cars there are different bodies from Protoform for Rubber and Foam setups. Has to do with wheel/tire diameter and probably ride height as well. Proline/Protoform's site shows which are carpet spec and the new R9 body makes it quite clear with a R9-F version for foams and a R9-R version for rubber (coming August 15th I believe). The DNA series is common for carpet and the Mazda 6 is awesome for rubber/asphault. Read the descriptions and they explain which bodies work well for which surface and tire types. The Dodge Stratus is kind of a multi purpose body and I've used it with Rubber/Asphault but prefer the Mazda 6 as it's predictable and planted. The Speed 6 gives more aggressive steering in my TC5 but I like the fit of the regular 6 better.
