Default Vinyl Cutter for Sale

Guys... I won't be needing my cutter anymore. used it about 6-7 times. Works great esp if you have Adobe Illustrator. Great vinyl cutter. Never failed me. It'll come with vinyl.

I have the Craft Robo CC200-20. like this one:

Hey Jim,

I noticed your post... Most Cutter programs wont reconize .ai files but will .eps Save your illustrator files as regular eps files not cs2, cs3, cs4 eps files.

That should do the trick

Sorry for the late response...but Stika DOES recognize AI files...you gotta get Roland's CUTSTUDIO plugin. It's free and allows you to cut DIRECLTy from AI.

has anyone had experience with the ebay vinyl cutters, looking at the PCUT model. this works with flexisign (which is what i have and know how to use) so leaning towards this.

also thinking about a roland stika 12, would this one cut any better than the ebay one? what are the key differences?

I have had a PCut going on close to 2 years now.
It has worked flawlessly for me.
I have used it with both SignCut X2 Pro and FlexiPro.
Both applications work with the PCut but the FlexiPro works better than signcut, IMO.

Signcut seems to have some hiccups in the PCut driver which will cause it to cut fine but spit the vinyl out the back of the machine after it is done cutting. I have never had this issue with the Flexi app.

Another reason I like the Flexi over the SignCut is the ability to set the PCut up for contour cutting. While you can do this with SignCut as well it is near as easy or as precise as Flexi.

For the money I would personally go with the PCut over the Stika, as the PCut is a faster cutter. The biggest down side to the PCut is parts support. While they can be purchased from USCutters the parts are a little more hard to come by than the Stika parts. With that being said I have yet to replace anything on my machine after two years of use.

I was also looking on Ebay for a cutter and found these two from Sign warehouse and wanted to know if anyone has had some use with them?

The 19"
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-19-SignMaker...item335b800193

The 31"
http://cgi.ebay.com/Your-Best-Value-...item35aa5b28de

Another thing interesting about them is they have a trade up program for these so if you out grow them you can go better.

How do people do the perfect borders around their designs when they're airbrushing? Do they just cut a design that has a second cut for the border?

Is it an different for window borders?

Thanks!
