You could do it with a vinyl cutter, but I think using a stencil technique is going to be a lot easier. It would take some effort to weed the mask and then after you paint you would have to remove every little square. I use my vinyl cutter a lot, but usually for logos and window masks only.

There is a trick with the way the design is made on the software and in which order the paint is applied. I use my SC Plotter.

So question about using vinyl as a paint mask. Is there anything that can be used to apply the mask that would let you move it around a little before it sticks? I know on the outside of bodies with stickers you can sometimes use soapy water sprayed on the body and let the decal float around in the soapy water until you get it in the right spot then squeegee out the water and let it dry and it will stay stuck but I didn't know if something like that would work on the inside or affect the paint sticking. Using Createx paints btw.

Thanks

I'm not familiar with your specific machine, but my generic response would be to find out what input your machine is looking for, hgpl would be my guess, and then find a CAD program capable of exporting that file type. There's likely a program offered by the manufacturer that interfaces with the machine.
