Hey guys, I'm not getting into the making masks part, but am really looking for some some outlets for some of them. I wondered if someone might have a link or some to send me the right direction? I have spent the last few days perusing over many, purchased some, but looking for more professional work than alot of what I'm seeing out there. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm mainly looking for traditional flames, paint drips, geometric lines. I have spent a couple of hours looking around, and there really doesn't seem like a lot out there. Mainly I want 1/8th and 1/10th stuff.

Lol, never said I wanted free. I pay for anything I get. I'm just not interested in something that looks like an 8 year old designed it. Back on topic, if someone has some stuff they want to sell, let me know, thanks.

Theres a software program called INk scape... Google it.. Free download.. Then you can get a .jpg or .bmp image off the net. Vectorize it.. then node edit to clean it up, Then export as a .eps and send it to your cutter..

I use avery mpi 2120. It is a matte material that is pretty low tac and is way cheaper than the actual "paint mask" material. Also comes in 48" rolls, and does an excellent job for paint masking. Ive used this on concrete floor stencils to r/c bodys. and leaves no residue behind when peeling it off..

That's good to know. I'm always making reversed paint masks for the guys in the shop here at work. I've been using an old roll of cheap 24" yellow vinyl that has been around here forever but it does leave adhesive behind.

I've got the same Mutoh printer you mentioned earlier with a 54" Graphtec plotter and 55" cold laminator. It makes some beee-autiful prints but even more impressive is the trace function in the Flexi-Sign software that came with the deal. I used to spend hours tracing and editing vectors in Corel. (I have Inkscape at home) Now it takes seconds to trace most things and requires little to no node cleanup at all before sending to the plotter. Makes my life so much easier and I still charge the same $$ for the decal.

Gotta love that Flexi... I like it when a customer gives you crappy artwork to work with.. I just resample the image... to get clean vectors off it.. Really does save loads of time..

I started with Good Ole Casmate. This took FOREVER to make a basic decal. LOL

I didn't know where to post my questions , but I've seem to come to the right place.
I tried to cut out some decal masks. You know , so I can paint on the decals. I tried to draw & cut them out of masking tape & left over window mask material , But they just kept coming out crappy.
I was wondering if I could send in my Ideas and have them made into a mask so it could easily be painted into a r/c body.

Okay, I have a 10L and a 10L 2. I was working on making my 10L2 a 200mm car .I simply wanted to put some 10L200 markings on the body. It's my car , my idea , why not my markings?
I'm not saying that nobody has ever had this idea , I just wanted my markings on it.
This is my idea;
10L 200 , Simple, right? I couldn't do anything to make this look right.
