Talking First time airbrush body

Here is a picture of my first attempt at airbrushing a lexan body. There are plenty of mistakes but overall I am happy with the results. Now all I need is practice, practice, practice.
I used Createx paint: black, white, pearlized green and iridescent yellow.
Iwata Revolution bottom fed airbrush with a paint cup that I purchased at http://cfxpaintshops.com/ . I actually bought two airbrushes (top and bottom fed) from Charlie. He helped me with all my questions and I ended up being very happy with what he recommended. He even turned me on to a compressor from another site. So thanks CB for getting me started. I appreciate it.

thats a good job m8, as you said all you need is practise to refine your skills. Each time you do a bodyshell try something different, yes, sometimes you will make mistakes and ruin a bodyshell, but i can guarantee you, you will learn from your mistakes and get a lot better.

Yep, practice all you can. You'll get alot better but it takes time to learn alot the tricks and what not to do.

good work for your first time. I picked up an airbrush on sale a few months ago, and haven't had a chance to try it out on my first body yet.

Hope mine looks as good as yours.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback.

Nemix - practice with it on some paper just to get a feel for how your spray patterns come out depending on how far you are away from the paper and how far back you go on the trigger. Charlie Barnes gave my son and I some tips plus we watched his youtube videos. If you need a compressor check out the Senco on Amazon.com. Nice price.

I better go buy another body for my next paint job
