Default How to mix paint

I have another one for you guys, when i have two colors to combined how do i mix them, in a seperate jar or can they be mixed in my airbrush cup that im shooting with, what im saying is how do i mix the colors together so they are one, when there both poured in the cup, with a stick, by swirling the airbrush around, by shaking them. all help is appreciated ?

You can mix either way np, its easier to mix in another container if your mixing alot, like for multiple bodies. To mix in the cup just use a toothpick.

Buy some clear bottle and mix your paints in one of them, that way if you run out you don't have to color match. don't mix in your cup for this reason

I don't know about with other paints, but with Faskolor:

If you mix in the airbrush cup, you're always going to end up with whatever color you put in first leaving some unmixed residue on the very bottom, especially if your brush uses a siphon feed (bottom feed). The first few sprays, sometimes even the whole cup depending on the viscosity of the paint, will come out with more of the first color than the mixed color, and if you shake the airbrush you will loosen more of that original unmixed color. So you can waste 10 cents worth of paint by mixing in a cup, or mix in the brush cup and spray your body with a color you didn't want. After about 8 tries I gave up and decided to always mix in a separate cup.
