What is the best way to cut out masking? I have done a few with liquid mask but had some troubles with it becoming very hard to peel off. Also do you us just a straight exacto knife when cutting design in mask?

If you are going to cut any mask, make sure you use a BRAND NEW blade every time. Trust me when i say it is worth not having any cutting issues later when trying to cut a mask with a dull blade. I personally prefer to use a pre-cut mask off a vinyl cutter. Makes it easier and faster for my liking. It is different for other painters im sure.

Charlie, Thanks for all your videos, I have learned a lot from watching them. In one of your videos on shadowing a touring car body I saw you using something like a gummy stone (ski tuning tool) to possibly clean up some over spray. What do you use to clean up areas of over spray or small errors?

I use different things. From q-tips dipped in alchohol to popcicle sticks cut on one side to have a pointed edge. It allows for easier access to the desired overdspray area.
