any alternatives to using a body reamer anyone? have finished cutting the body and will be putting holes for mounting. would a drill work? if it does, what drill bit size should i use? thanks!

A trick I used to do before I broke down and bought a reamer(Dynamite buy the way,excellent for the price) was to take the drill bit of choice and spin it in reverse instead of forward. What this does is to spin/melt its way thru without the chance of gouging that happens with the bigger bits. Been doing this for years on full size cars to prevent paint chipping.

I use my dremel with a small drill bit to start the hole. Then I switch the cone shaped sanding bit to enlarge the hole evenly
