Default Signatures in lexan B4 PAINT.

Yo fellas whats the best way to put your signature in the lexan bodies before you paint it, i've used a permanent marker but the paint i use is laquer based and it just washes it away, i've painted some killer bodies and all my friends are saying noway did you paint that, im glad they think im that good, they say thats a sticker kit til they actually see it in person, but i just want my name and date that i painted the bodies before i paint them, all help will be appreciated thanks....

Hi,
Have some vinyl masks made with your name on them and put them on the body when painting. See Roly's thread, he uses them on the visor at the top of the windscreen. On the body on my avatar, I put it on the grille.

A simple way I do it is with a detail brush by hand backwards inside the body. I use white in a dark area in a spot where stickers will not fit, so it won't be covered, !

It takes a little trial and error, but a mistake can be wiped away with a toothpick with no scratches on the lexan.

Of course W.E.D. is pretty easy to do though, .

Practice on the inside of a 2-liter plastic soda bottle cut the top
and bottom off and cut up one side of the tube and you have a sheet of plastic for practice purfect for painting !
