Default how to Dye Tamiya Suzuki Swift rims ??

Does anyone know how?? I have tried and tried, boiling hot water, even let them sit in there for 2 hours and the dye did not take at all.

Is there a special trick to do this??

Please help!
thanks,
Chris

I am asuming you're using RIT dye?

Maybe youre not using enough Dye in the water?
Maybe wach the rims with dish soap to remove any molding release agents?

I have dyed the swift wheels with much success with hot hot hot water with nor real problems.

couldn't get them to work either.. i figured it was because the swift rims were a different type of plastic and will not dye.. ended up just painting them

If they won't dye then they are probably ABS plastic instead of Nylon.
