Default fastcolor and masking tape

is it alright to tape over fastcolor after one color/design has been laid down? Will it take the paint off when i pull the tape up?
Thanks For your help.

I would let it sit over night to be on the safe side and you should test on a corner first and see what happens.

Wel that is kind of what I figured on doing. So far I have had limited luck in painted. So far this project has been going good and I hate to ruin the progress so far. Just curious to see if anyone has had any experience with this.

if you are really worried about it use low tac tape. but if you let it sit for about 4 hours or so it should be fine. anything small i use faskolor.

Is it ok to speed up the dry time with a heat gun/blow dryer? or is that asking for trouble?

it will dry faster but it wont adhere faster. so it will feel dry but the actual paint underneath wont be dry and it chips very easily.

Thanks,
I guess that makes sense now that you say it. It has flaked off real easy and that is why I was so leary about putting masking tape over it.
