Default Body Post Holes

Wondering how the pros here mark and make holes in bodies for the body posts? Sometimes I just use a drill, but I know there are better ways.

the easiest way to cut the holes is with a reamer like this

http://www.hudy.net/eshop/products/p...7&kategoria=65

then cut out all the holes before you paint as its much easier then when its painted

some might say that would peel up the overspray and possibly allow paint to leak under the overspray flim, but after doing quite a few bodies this way, the problem has never arisen.

i have found out the best way to do it is mark the body post holes with the Trinity No Brainer Body Markers

http://teamtrinity.com/shop/bodies.html

and then i use either a dremel with cone shaped bit or use a body reamer -

the trick is the no brainers - makes your life so much easier....

I usually just rest the body on the car approx and mark with sharpie and use a reamer like the hudy one. Also if you don't really care, you can pick up a reamer at your local hardware store, for like 6 dollars, its a little longer than the RC one and has a plastic handle, but still sharp as hell and does the same job. If the body is painted, I sometimes cut out little squares of double sided tape and place the gently on the tips of the posts and once its is aligned just press down and when you take the body away it is stuck there and you have your place to put the hole.... hope this helps..
