How to paint Carbon Fiber effect?

i try new thing, paint grey and after paint black...done this:

They look the best from a distance but when you get up close nothings beats real carbon fiber!!!!!!!!

this way is a bit of a 'slap job' but it was easy to do and you can use green or blue with the black

Here is a pic of the CF I have done. I really like the look of the smaller cf that is linked in this topic... I'm going to give that smaller CF a try next time. thanks

Wow GeneralG that’s nice obviously you’re a professional did you use masks for the flames? you must have been air brushing for a wile? nice work!!

Has anyone used the xxxmain internal carbon fiber decal? Does it look real? or can you paint better?

Hayden, thanks for the nice comments... HOWEVER I'm far from being a professional. I've only been airbrushing for about 4 months now. But always looking to improve!

I used Bob Dively's liquid masking and semi copied the flames from a printout I had. I'm working on a website right now to show off my paint jobs. Should have it up and working within the next week hopefully. Check out www.gsairwerx.com when you have time in about a week.
