If you put it on too dry, it can't stick. Try wetter coats.

Hi
The Golden Rule for all paints is quite simple. “PAINT WANTS TO STICK TO PAINT”. Applying the paint thick is NOT the way to go. Think of an egg. It’s only hard on the outside. When you paint thick the paint will form an outer skin thus allowing the wet paint under it to start sticking to itself. You’ve heard the “Dry to the touch”. The solution is simple. Spray your first few coats VERY thin. MIST it on and let it dry. It will look like crap but that is fine. Once they are dry, successive thicker coats will have paint to stick to. I sell 50 plus bodies a year and don’t get complaints.
Hope this helps
