Default Short Course Modified

I've been looking for a thread about sc modified but can't find any. If anyone knows of one and can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it! Otherwise, let's hear some set up tips(I'm having a problem with mine wanting to push wayyy too much/too much rear traction) and get some pics of them modifieds!

What chassis are you running? Program some brake into it. Will help it setup and turn.

Well.. it's an off road chassis based off of the sc10.2. It's the xfactory scxz60cf mid motor conversion kit for the sc10.2 and also the way the track is designed, in order to be fast you go through the turns while barely lifting.. never letting off more than half throttle. It's HIGH bite clay track

I have a SCX60-cf but cant run it at our local track due to stock spec short course rules. But even set up for off road I saw the potential for running oval as I ran it one time around the track. Spring rates are your best friend.

just started racing this class too.
I put a custom works tornado body on a XXX-SCT and took it out.

I don't see any other discussion on here about this class either.

Heavy shock oil with rc4less springs will help it turn. I run 8 lb rear springs with 80 wt oil in the rear. Adjustable rear arms if legal are the ticket. You can add some weight to help it turn also. Ask some of the better racers for help.
