Default Any reviews on Hobbywing ESC's?

I'm new to the RC stuff. But just started dirt modified racing. I want a nice ESC that will handle a 5.5t or 6.5t motor. Looking at the Hobbywing ESC's Xerun SCT PRO sensored,Xerun V3.1 stock spec sensored. But just don't want to break the bank on one. If you have any other brand ESC's in this price range feel free to say. Thanks for your help. Price range around $80-130ish

another vote for the hobby wing esc's from me too, but you should state your rc vehicle and plans for the vehicle e.g bashing , racing, speed runs etc... so people can give you a more informed answer
cheers

I have not had great luck yet, my unit went into a thermal shutdown after 5-8 mins of run time. Will be adding cap packs to the new one and hopefully it will last this time.

Normally a thermal shut down is not an ESC problem; it is caused by too much gear, too high amp draw, low out put batteries, motor with too high resistance. The ESC shut down to protect the electronics until the issue could be resolved.
