Yes. I have been seriously thinking of getting one of these for some time now.

Puts me off that there are not many 1/5th scale racers in the MidWest, although we are hoping to change that with a new Venture at LHR ;)

Are you going to get one?

i am not sure yet.
most drivers in my clube drive harm or genius. maybe i use one of these chassis.

good to see 5th scale is also popular in other areas.
races are always interesting.

Trying to drum up some 5th scale interest in the Southwest and South as well. The major thing is many think that these cars are super pricey. When I ask them about their "fill in the blank" car, I get them to realize that many of them have more in their 10th/8th scale car than I have in my 5th scale car. Yes the cars are big, heavy, and you need some room to run them, but overall, they are way cheaper to operate in the long run and if you want out, you can recoup a lot of your investment back as compared to the smaller cars.
