You could also check here: http://www.bumpsandjumpsrc.com/
I used to go there quite often a few years ago and they know they're stuff when it comes to oval cars. good luck!
Also, it's quite common to take a AE b4 platform and convert them over to oval.
I honestly don't think you're going to find an RTR latemodel though unless someone sells you one. Most people in the market for RTR's really want something to bash with.

Yep. I have bought and sold several late models over there.
If you are looking to get into electric dirt oval look into spec 17.5T. The cars are fast but the electronics are all spec so cost is controlled. The allowed ESCs can all be purchased used for $50ish (Havoc, Edge, Justock and the Speed Passion). Batteries are also limited to a select few, one of which is a $45 Onyx (arguably the best of the allowed batteries).
Any foam tire late model chassis will give you plenty to learn. Setup is critical in a discipline where laps are in the 6 second range. The amount of things you can change is ridiculous. Especially when you are getting into staggered setups where one corner is wider than the rest, and you run 4 different spring rates.
I love foam tire dirt oval. It is strangely addicting. Here is my Custom Works SE3 LM to give you an idea of what to look for. Mine is set up for 17.5.
Custom Works cars are extremely popular but other top notch brands are JRC, Hyperdrive, Murfdogg and BMS.
Also previously mentioned is the B4 street stock stuff. Most I see don't run true LM bodies but those guys have fun and you can be in a front running car RTR for about $400.00.

Murphdogg's come ready to run with stock setup.

like the murffdog stuff but can be a problem getting parts sometimes. It is getting better. Custom works you can get parts easy and if you are running loose dirt get the new late model from custom works its the best right now.
