Rollout of pre seria models on April 25th
 

Rollout of our pre series electric models: absolutely fantastic!!! :):):)

We finished 6 cars (a lot of work and rework for the first ones ;) went to the track and did run without any setup modifications - as there would not be many.
total weight with body: 2250g with 4s LiPo and 2300KV motor and 120A esc

Even other nitro drivers tried and all were deeply impressed!

The next day there was a race at the Stoehr-Ring: 2 Serpent 977e and 7 BURI-Racers (+the prototype car)!
in the finals the top laptimes were: Serpent 977e: 18.000 BURI-Racer: 18.423
Thats half a second for an unsuspensioned car! Absolutely great!

@ blis: The danger depends on the attention of the driver. My expirience is, there is no differece between suspensioned and the new unsuspensioned cars. My cars pass curbs nearly the same style the suspensioned do.

@ s1a1om: Thats what I would have answered: 1/8 IC Fan is absolutely right

@ JLock: This first version comes with fixed steering blocks, I am already testing front steering blocks with pivot balls. So probably I will change the next seria to this style.

@ Johnson40: Bad news for nitro: in this moment all energy is on electric version, because of more interest.
Yes we are preparing a real commercial seria with professional partners first the electric one - but my heart still is for nitro.

BURI Racer E1
 

BURI Racer E1: absolutely simple - minimized construction, maintenance, setup and easy to drive! Time for a lot of fun!

Looks really, really, good. How much for the kit and where could one buy/order one??

@ JLock: Sorry, but it needs some more time.

We just finished a pre seria of 15 cars, test them the next three weeks to find weak points and then we start production of 50 / 100 or 200 cars. In this case we will give every purchase and sales in professional hands to get serious products.
It will last until summer to be able to offer and ship the kits.

My next car is ready for rollout: I call it BURI-Racer E2 because of 2x 2sLiPo
In the front Pivot balls and many standard parts, the belt in the middle.

But there are some pros an cons compared with my E1.

Nejc Mihelič with the Buri Racer E1 - just a few easy laps at the end of the race in Tolmin. :) :)

The asphalt is rather new, so the best condition for the unsuspensioned car.

International Race of MORAC-Graz
 

Last weekend there was really a great race at the track of MORAC-Graz! More than 60 competitors did fight in 6 classes (1/5 gas, 1/8, 1/10-200 and 1/10-235 nitro, 1/8 and 1/10electric).

In 1/8th electric there were 11 drivers with 10 BURI-Racers and 1 Serpent 977e.
The winner: Martin Burger-Ringer 2nd: Nejc Mihelič 3rd: Pascal Knoeller , all with BURI-Racer E1
The best laptime of Nejc with his unsuspensioned BURI-Racer E1 was only 0.7 seconds slower than the best lap of the day with his Motonica / Picco (16.80)! Thats great!

Hi,
here some new pics of the evaluation model for the serial production:
some additional features and again a bit more simple!

I hope the next pictures come to show the ready sets for delivery ;) I hope until the end of August ;)
