I have been wanting to build a 1/4 scale oval track car for a while now. My son seems to be gaining a little interest too. Does anyone happen to have any old parts they could part with? The main thing im looking for is a chassis. It doesn't really matter the age or condition I maibly just need to get a feel for the construction and dimensions of the chassis. I intend to make most of the parts my self in my hobby cnc shop. I have a benchtop cnc mill, metal fab equipment and soon to have a thermo forming machine (to make bodies). I am not asking for free but don't want to spend a mint either as I said before I will just be using these parts to pattern from.
