Raceing dirt oval

Hello Guys

I been raceing dirt oval for weeks now we all use a 2wd slash with modified
car bodys from bartparts we race every Sunday after noon yesturday we raced a 20 lap feature with 11 cars you talk about chrashes we had alot I personally think that 11 cars was way to much to run at one time but I didnt want to race anything so I kept my mouth shut so how do the rest of you guys race at your track? as in how many cars at a time?

Thank you for the input
Jeff

Dirt Oval Racing!!

When it comes to racing at our track, it was originally set up to accommodate 1/8th scale. So when running 1/10th scale, there is plenty of room for 10 or more cars without a lot of crashing. It is normal to run 12 4 wheel drive open cars for 5 minutes without anyone needing to be marshaled.
So I guess it would have to depend on the track size, car set up and how skilled the drivers are.

Our track is 200' run line with 14' wide lanes. It is a flat tri oval. We run Slash with 1/8 late model bodies, 13.5 1/10 Sliders, and next season we will add 1/10 late model class.

We have run seven of the Slashes in a race with no issue and 10 Sliders as well. Again it depends on track size more than anything else.
